Be sure to submit your registration which will generate an invoice for payment. Payment details are also provided on the invoice.

Required Forms:

At this leadership camp, you will work with members of FBLA, DECA, and TSA. It is a fantastic opportunity to network with SkillsUSA members from across the state and learn leadership skills while having fun with your state officers. Members from TSA, FBLA, DECA, and SkillsUSA will discover leadership in new and exciting ways. All attendees will stay in cabins, furnished with bunk beds for the students and twin beds for the advisors.

Registration Fee:
Thursday early arrival: $160.00 per person (includes lodging Thursday night and breakfast Friday morning)
 -Chapters that come on Thursday will be responsible for their own dinner.

             -Thursday arrival is strongly encouraged for additional chapter planning time.
             -A campfire will be available for light grilling if requested. <Bring Your Own Food>
             -Arrivals may begin at 5:00 p.m. CDT.
         Friday arrival: $140.00 per person

Required Forms: Advisors: You are not required to mail the CTSO Release Form in with your registration, you only need to have completed copies for each attendee with you at the conference in the case of an emergency.

Payment Information: All payments are due by Thursday, August 31, 2017.

All checks should be made payable to SkillsUSA Tennessee.

Please include a copy of the registration invoice with your chapter’s check, along with SkillsUSA-3000 in the check’s memo line.

Do not pack any food that contains nuts: due to peanut and walnut allergies. Also, please make sure you bring deet free bug spray.

Packing for Camp — What to Bring?

Camp Packing Essentials:


  • Bag for dirty clothes
  • Extra shoes
  • Closed-toe shoes
  • Shower shoes
  • Socks
  • Comfortable shoes for walking and athletic activities
  • Jacket/sweater for cooler evenings
  • One piece bathing suit
  • Flashlight
  • Insect repellent – Deet Free
  • Sunscreen
  • Personal grooming items
  • Soap and shampoo
  • Linens/sleeping bag/blanket/pillow
  • Towels/washcloths
  • Rain gear
  • Music, instruments, props for talent showcase
  • Paper, pens and pencils for taking notes
  • Alarm clock
  • Money (change) for vending machines
  • Sports equipment and gear (the camp provides all necessary equipment, but if you want to use your own, you are welcome to do so!)
  • A positive attitude to have fun and make friends!

Clothing appropriate for the leadership camp:

  • Polo shirts
  • Chapter t-shirts
  • School spirit t-shirts
  • Khaki pants or shorts
  • Denim jeans without holes, cuts or rips
  • Athletics sneakers or comfortable casual shoes

Clothing inappropriate for the leadership camp:

  • NO jewelry or visible body piercing, other than ears
  • NO exercise or biker shorts
  • NO backless, see-through, tight-fitting, spaghetti straps, strapless, extremely short, or low cut tops, dresses, skirts or pants
  • NO two-piece swimsuits
  • NO visible foundation garments
  • NO shirts with inappropriate sayings
  • NO spandex or midriff tops
  • NO bare feet

DO NOT BRING large sums of money, valuable jewelry or expensive electronics.
The Camp Widjiwagan staff and SkillsUSA Tennessee staff are not responsible for any lost or damaged property.

Talent Showcase Information
We will have a talent showcase on Saturday night. Please bring any props and music that will be needed to showcase your talent. Sign-ups will be available during registration on Friday. Practice will be held on Friday night. Awards will be given for “Best of Show” and “Most Entertaining.”

Talent Showcase Guidelines:
Anyone attending the camp is eligible to participate in the talent showcase. (Advisors are welcome to participate.)
Participants must sign-up for the talent showcase during onsite camp registration. Participants will be asked for the lyrics to all songs, whether they are to be performed or are supporting elements of the performance. Only songs with clean, powerful, and positive messages will be allowed at the talent showcase.
Song lyrics/dances must not be offensive or crude.
Performances may not exceed five minutes.
Talents will be reviewed on Friday night. You must attend this session to participate in the show on Saturday night.
Talents must be performed in an appropriate manner suitable for a young businessman or businesswoman.
The camp dress code must be followed during the talent showcase.
