Instructor Resources

SkillsUSA has many partnerships with business and industry which offer classroom resources. Below are links to resources shared with the state association:

Guide to Accessing Perkins Funds

Go Build offers a variety of classroom handouts, informational collateral, and promotional material (shirts, hats, flags) to help educate students about the opportunities in the trades and change perceptions about those careers. As part of our efforts, we send out toolkits annually to teachers throughout the state in the beginning of the school year, and also allow them to request materials or even our presence at trade shows during the year. SME – I am proud to announce a new partnership with SME, formerly known as the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. We are recruiting students and educators to sign-up for SME-SkillsUSA Membership (at NO Cost). All students/educators who participate in manufacturing, information technology or STEM career clusters are automatically eligible for free SME membership.
SME is a one-stop shop for busy students, offering everything from hard-to-find technical information on state-of-the-art manufacturing processes and applications to providing you unparalleled networking opportunities to help you land that first job on your career path. Best part? An SME High School Membership is completely FREE!
