Guide to Accessing Perkins Funds
Go Build offers a variety of classroom handouts, informational collateral, and promotional material (shirts, hats, flags) to help educate students about the opportunities in the trades and change perceptions about those careers. As part of our efforts, we send out toolkits annually to teachers throughout the state in the beginning of the school year, and also allow them to request materials or even our presence at trade shows during the year. SME – I am proud to announce a new partnership with SME, formerly known as the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. We are recruiting students and educators to sign-up for SME-SkillsUSA Membership (at NO Cost). All students/educators who participate in manufacturing, information technology or STEM career clusters are automatically eligible for free SME membership.
